La prominencia prosódica en la adquisición de la morfosintaxis del q’anjob’al (maya)

Resumen

La prominencia o acento frasal en la frase prosódica (FP) determina, en parte, la adquisición de la morfosintaxis del q’anjob’al. El linde final de la FP en adultos licencia sufijos exclusivos al contexto, pero los niños menores de 3 años a veces los insertan dentro de dicho constituyente o los suprimen al final del mismo, previamente analizados como error. Este trabajo muestra que la FP infantil puede ser más corta que la del adulto, pero los sufijos siempre ocurren al final de ésta. Así, los niños han aprendido la prosodia de la lengua y emplean los sufijos bajo las mismas reglas sin errores.
