El Crátilo como una discusión sobre el origen del lenguaje: exposición crítica

Abstract

The present paper intends to be a contribution for the resolution of the conceptual problems that arise from the platonic dialogue Cratylus, as well as to be of help for the interpretation of the general reader. Textual evidence is examined and we also present some contextual evidence that support the viewing of the Cratylus as a dialogue whose purpose focuses on the origin of language. We present some brief reflexions about the theoretical postures on the origin of language conteined in such text.
