Abstract

This paper underlines the importance of designing activities that foster listening comprehension skills using movie trailers. The main objective of the worksheets described is to improve the students’ bottom-up and top-down information processing strategies. The rationale for the utilization of trailers is related to the relevance of introducing authentic materials and videos in the English as a foreign language classroom.
