Between lexicon and syntax: prepositions and prepositional phrases in Molise Slavic

Abstract

Prepositions and prepositional phrases are an interesting area of research for language contact, as both lexical and morphosyntactic levels are involved in changes. This paper intends to present the prepositional forms of the Slavic variety of Molise, trying to understand the role that lexical and structural borrowing play in the dynamics of change.
