Keywords:

Abstract
The aim of this text is to shed some light on the syntactic interpretation and analysis, firstly, of those adverbial syntagms or groups that, having suffered a nominalization process, can function as the subject of a sentence. Secondly, it focuses on the characterization of an adverb when, apart from having the function of a modifier, it has a modal value in relation to the nucleus of the nominal syntagm where it appears. In order to do so, it is necessary to pay attention to pragmatics to describe the functionality of such adverbs.Downloads
