LEXICOGRAPHICAL TREASURE OF CUBA. FIRST AND SECOND EDITIONS

Abstract

Abstract: This paper shows the aspects attended to in the elaboration of the Lexicographical Treasure of Cuba (2013) and the new methodological approaches with which the second edition is being conceived. Data are offered regarding the primary sources included in the first one and the limits defined for the second one, as well as the criteria followed for the organization of the information in the macrostructure and microstructure of the dictionary of Cuban dictionaries. It is presented the application, used in the first edition of the Tlex-Cuba, with which the data extracted from the source dictionaries were processed and visualized. The work aims to disseminate little known aspects of the work and to contribute to hispanic metalexicographic studies in general and Cuban ones in particular.
