La percepción de las interrupciones conversacionales entre estudiantes universitarios

Abstract

Abstract This study analyzes the perception of conversational interruptions among university students, considering the interlocutor’s age as an interpretative variable. Adopting a pragmatic approach, a questionnaire featuring simulated scenarios was administered to 150 participants from three universities in Hermosillo, Sonora. The results indicate that age influences the evaluation of interruptions and the attribution of communicative intentions. It is concluded that generational differences affect the interpretation of interruptive acts, offering new perspectives on academic interaction and linguistic politeness norms. Keywords: evaluation; legitimacy; hierarchy; context; interpretation.
